Peter Gilligan Griffin who is voiced by Seth MacFarlane in a Rhode Island accent is the head of the Griffin household on the animated series called Family Guy. Peter Griffin who is 43 years old is married to Lois,and they have a daughter named Meg, a two sons Chris and Stewie and a dog named Brian. He resides in Quahog, Rhode Island and works at Happy-Go-Lucky Toys where he makes toys and is employed by Mr. Weed. His favorite place to hang out at is The Drunken Clam with his friends Cleveland and Quagmire.Peter is a very unintelligent, immature person that enjoys doing things such as farting in his daughter Meg’s cereal and wiping boogers in her hair. He even took an I.Q. test that indeed confirmed that his intellect is slightly above being mentally retarded.

Besides being fat, accident prone, and a heavy drinker, he is in good health.

Peter gets randomly interrupted in episodes when a giant chicken comes out of no where and him and Peter begin to physically fight. Peter is the one who is always winning the fights, leaving the giant chicken dead however, you do see the chicken move a tiny bit showing that he is still alive for him to come back and interrupt him yet again.

Peter Griffin has made some guest appearances on some other shows other then Family Guy. He made a guest appearance on the animated series, The Simpsons because they think that Family Guy is a rip off of The Simpsons. Robot Chicken, South Park, and Late Show with David Letterman were also other shows that Peter Griffin has appeared on.
