Meg Griffin is the older child of the Griffin family from the animated series Family Guy. When Family Guy first started out, she was 15 and now she remains 17 years old. Meg is the oldest child of the Griffin family and is a junior at James Woods High School in Quahog, Rhode Island. At first, Meg was portrayed as the girl in her family who took the blame for her family’s mistakes and the things they had done, but now she is just portrayed as a girl who is ignored by her family. Shes not an attractive girl, she has shoulder-length brown hair, wears glasses, and has short arms. She tries to fit in with the cool crowd in her school, but just doesn’t seem to be accepted. Several people had done the voice of Meg Griffin throughout the seasons.

At first, Cree Summer was supposed to do her voice, but Seth MacFarlane didn’t like the African-American voice for her. Then, Rachael MacFarlane did the voice for Meg, and then Lacey Chabert was then hired to do her voice. Lacey however left doing the show after the first season. Then Mila Kunis voiced Meg, along with several other substitutes such as Tara Strong and Debi Derryberry. Meg being so unpopular and unattractive, asks a boy out in shop class and he was so grossed out by it that he fires a nail gun in his stomach just to avoid going out with her. Also another kid that she asks out murders his own brother just so he has an excuse to avoid not going to prom with her. Neil Goldman is completely obsessed with her, yet he is also unpopular and unattractive just like her. Meg doesn’t like Neil at all, and tries avoiding him at all costs, however in one episode, Neil starts dating a girl named Cecilia and Meg becomes very jealous and tries to make him jealous back.

Lois Pewterschmidt Griffin is a 41 year old animated character on the television show on Family Guy. She is married to Peter Griffin, and they have three children Meg, Chris, Stewie. She comes from a very wealthy family, and her parents did not agree with her dating Peter Griffin. So, her father tried bribing Peter with money, $1,000,000.00 to be exact to break them up.

However, Peter turned down the offer. Her wild teen years are alluded to in quite a few episodes, referencing her drug use and wild nights with Gene Simmons of Kiss. Lois is a stay at home mother, however she does teach piano to some children to get a little extra money for the family. Lois, even being a mother does make bad choices at times for example in an episode where she goes to the grocery store and is getting ready to pay for the food but has to put a ham back because she doesn’t have enough money for it so has to put it back. But she doesn’t put it back, she puts it in her purse. After that, she felt the rush and just began going to many stores stealing. Lois Griffin is also seen as a nymphomaniac because she has such a strong desire for sex.

In the episode “The Dirty Grimace” she pulls down her pants and tells Peter to spank her. In the episode “Sibling Rivalry” Peter gets a vasectomy and doesn’t want to have sex because he feels less of a man so Lois has to channel her sexual frustrations into eating. In “Petarded,” Lois gets a brain tumor due to holding in all of her negative thoughts about having married Peter because he is so childish and does immature things.

Family Guy is a funny and hilarious animated American T.V. Sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane. It was habitually shown in Fox network in the United States and in different networks in different countries.

The show is about the Griffin family which is semi-dysfunctional. Misbehavior, conflict and abuse are done by some of the members of the family. The Griffin family resides in a made up town called Quahog in Rhode Island. They scenes are mostly made of cutaway gags and very funny jokes. By the year 2000 and 2002, the showing of Family Guy was cancelled due to some negative criticisms. But the avid viewers of the show made a good job on bringing it back on the television on 2005. This is because of the astonishing DVD sales of the show.

There are appearances of American Dad, in few episodes of the Family Guy. American Dad is an animated T.V. show also created by Seth MacFarlane. This doubled the fun and laughter given to the audiences. As of today, there is no official announcement from the Fox Executives that these two shows will have a crossover special. But the creator, MacFarlane, already said to the public that there might be a chance that these television shows will have a crossover on the seventh season of the Family Guy.

The show features the voices of Alex Borstein as Lois Griffin, Seth Green as Chris Griffin, Mila Kunis as Meg Griffin, Mike Henry as Cleveland Brown and of course, Seth McFarlane as Peter Griffin, Stewie and Brian Griffin, Glenn Quagmire and other characters.
